The Glo Yakata is a prepaid plan which rewards Glo customers with amazing benefits whenever they recharge their Glo lines. With the Glo Yakata Prepaid Plan, customers are entitled to free 6GB data every month for the next 6 months. How Does The Glo Yakata Prepaid Plan Works?

With the Glo Yakata Prepaid Plan, customers are entitled to various bonuses in the form of data, calls and SMS when they recharge their lines with the following amounts:

N100 Recharge gives a customer N350 bonus which can be used for voice calls or SMS. Customer will also get free 50mb on their first recharge of the month, and also bonus 50mb for subsequent recharges.

N200 Recharge gives a customer N700 bonus which can be used for voice calls or SMS, free 250mb for the first recharge in the month, and 100mb on subsequent recharge in the month.

N500 Recharge gives a customer N1750 bonus which can be used for voice calls and SMS, free 625mb for first recharge in the month, and 250mb on subsequent recharges.

N1000 Recharge gives a customer N3500 bonus which can be used for voice calls and SMS, 1.25GB for first recharge in the month, and 500mb on subsequent recharge.

N5000 Recharge gives a customer a bonus of N17,500 which can be used for voice calls and SMS, free 6.25GB of data for the first recharge in the month, and 2.5GB on subsequent recharges.

Glo Yakata Bonus Validity Period

The Glo Yakata Bonus is valid for 7 days from the date the recharge was made. Validity days cannot be accumulated but you can accumulate the Glo Yakata bonuses. Every single recharge made will increase the total airtime balance in your Yakata Bonus account.

How To Migrate To The Glo Yakata Prepaid Plan

If you want to migrate to the Yakata Prepaid Plan, simply dial *220#t to complete the migration. To conform if the migration was successful or to know if you are on the Yakata package, simple dial #100# from your Glo line.

How To Check Your Yakata Bonus

If you want to check your remaining Yakata Bonus, simply dial #22*1#

NOTE: You cannot use the bonus airtime to subscribe for any value added service. All other value added service subscriptions will be charged from customer’s main account. Also, customers cannot share or transfer airtime from their bonus accounts to other Glo customers.

Glo Yakata Tariffs For Calls and SMS

Once you are on the Glo Yakata Prepaid Plan, calls from both main and binus accounts are charged at 55k/s (N33/min) on Glo to Glo calls, while calls are charged at 70k/s (N42/min) to other networks.

SMS are charged at N4 per SMS from main account and N14 per SMS from bonus account.
