We are in the period where new flagship devices are been introduced daily. We just experienced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and now there is a leak which reveals that the Google Pixel 2 unveiling is just around the corner as well.
According to veteran journalist and leaker, Evan Bliss, Google’s next flagship, the Google Pixel 2 is set to be launched on the 5th of October, 2017. It will actually be the first phone to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor.
The Google Pixel 2 leaks that came up prior to the launch of the phone suggests that Google might refrain frmmaking major design changes. However, its partner HTC might decide to include the “squeezable” bezels on the side of the phone, first seen on HTC U11.
A new set of leaks also reveal that there is a possibility of the Google Pixel 2 to be shipped without a 3.5mm headphone jack. However, Google might be cooking up some surprise by launching its own Google Assistant powered headphones, to compete with the Apple’s Airpods.
There is a possibility that the smaller Pixel will be produced by HTC and the larger Google Pixel 2 XL will be manufactured by Google’s long term partner, LG.
