Six different types of Zenfone 4 Phones will be launched this July 2017, as they have been leaked on the Zentalk forum late last month. A screen shot taken from the Google support site revealed the phones, which includes the Zenfone 4 Max, the Zenfone 4 Pro, the Zenfone 4 Selfie, and three different versions of the Zenfone 4 flagship, and they all approved for Google services.
Zenfone 4 Max (ZC554KL)
The Zenfone 4 Max (ZC554KL) will be coming with an ASUS branded name known as ASUS X00ID. It is a direct successor to the Zenfone 3 Max, and it is expected to have a larger battery but a midrange specs and features.
Zenfone 4 Pro
The Zenfone 4 Pro is a new device among the upcoming phones, so we are yet to find a specific position it fits it. For the main time, the only information we have layed hand upon is that this very model name will be called ASUS Z01GD.
Zenfone 4 Selfie
The Zenfone 4 Selfie is a phone that have been featured on GFXBench, and some of its specs have already been leaked. It will be coming with a Snapdragon 625 processor with eight cortex cortex-A53 cores. clocked at 2.0GHz. The model name will be known as ASUS Z01MD. It also features a 12MP camera on the front panel and a 16MP camera on the back with 4K video recording capability.
From the leak. we also saw some three other Zenfone 4 devices. Looking at how the brand handled the Zenfone 3 series we might as well expect two different RAM/storage configurations. The third version among the three is known as Zenfone 4V and it will be exclusive on Verizon’s network.
Initially, Asus planned to launch the Zenfone 4 series in the month of May 2017, but “design overhaul and efficiency updates” postponed the release to this very month of July. For all users of this brand, all you need to do is to keep your fingers crossed as we await the eventual launch date…we are already in July.
